y+24 = 8(x+8) is in point slope form
y=8x +64-24
y = 8x +40 is in slope intercept form with 8=slope, 40=y intercept

-1 = (y+8)/(x+48)
y+8 = -(x+48) is in point slope form where -1 = slope
y= -x -48-8
y =-x -56 is in slope intercept form where -56 is the y intercept, and implicit -1 is the slope = the coefficient of x when the equation is solved for y
