Math Question I don't understand please help me

Water is being poured into a container at a constant rate. The data below represents the height of the water level with relation to time.

Time (s) -> Height of Water Level(cm)
0 0
1 1
2 1.5
3 1.8
4 2
5 3
6 5
7 7
8 8
9 8.6
10 8.8
11 8.9
12 9
  1. Graph the Height of the water level as a function of radius.
  2. Draw a secant on the graph corresponding to each time interval below. Then calculate the average rate of change.
  3. 1 s to 12 s
  4. 5 s to 7 s
  5. 11 s to 12 s
  6. Draw the shape of a possible container based on this data.

It asks to graph as a function of radius: radius of what? Is this container cylindrical (or, rather, hourglass-shaped)? Start by working backward from volume and height to find radius.
