So , greatest number be 7x

From question,

7x-x= 3024

Or 6x = 3024

X= 3024/6

X= 504

Greatest number = 7x = 7 *504 = 3528

Smallest number = x= 504

Sum of both number = 3528+504= 4032

Difference means subtract

b - s = 3024

b is seven times s, b = 7s

Putting 7s for b in the equation
