y = (5-2x)/7 = (-2/7)x + 5/7 in slope intercept form y=mx+b with m=-2/7 and b=5/7

y= 15 has m=0 and b=15

m= the slope, b= the y intercept. k? usually the y coordinate of the vertex, but there is no vertex for a straight line.
