Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
if C =70%
then to get .7
you need .57(.4) + x(.6) = .7
.228 + .6x = .7
.6x = .7-.228 = .472
x = .472/.6 =about .788= about 79% on the Final Exam to get a C
YET you currently have 94.8% weighted average? Not clear what that means
IF it means your current grades, the midterm 57 plus other factors, maybe homework, quizzes or attendance give you a 94.8, that still doesn't say how much the Final is worth. If it's only worth 100-94.8= 5.2% then
.948 + 0 on the final gives you 90% on the Final grade even if you get zero on the Final Exam. So odds are that isn't what you meant.
But it's hard to figure out what you meant.
Maybe you meant you had a 94.8 before the 57 midtem? but how much weight did you have on other grades before the 57 midterm?
