I have a problem that says "In Ohio, you can get a license when you turn 16. Write an inequality to show the age of all drivers in Ohio" Does anyone have Any examples?

Hello Tristan,

Based on the problem you posted, you cannot get a license when you're 15, 14, 13, 12, etc. However, you CAN get a license from 16 and up. In other words, you can get a license when you're 16 years old OR when you're OVER 16 years old.

The inequality symbol that describes this is ≥ a.k.a "greater or equal than"

So if x if the age of all drivers in Ohio, their age has to greater than 16 OR equal to 16. You would represent it as

x ≥ 16
