Hi Khalani! When we are dividing fractions, what we are actually doing is multiplying the fractions, but we will flip one of two of the fractions, meaning we will use it's reciprocal. So for this problem...
1/8 / 1/15 can also be written as:
1/8 * 15/1
When we multiply fractions, we multiply the numerators together, and the denominators together. Then we will simplify.
= 15/8
We can turn this improper fraction into a mixed number, 1 7/8. I hope this helped!
