D and E are sets of real numbers defined as follows.

D= {w|w>1}

E= {w|w greater than or equal to 6}

To arrive at this result, I used a drawing of the real number line, starting at 0 and labeled 1 and 6 on it. Then I drew a small open circle (not filled) at "1" on that line with an arrow emanating to the right, to indicate the set D's numbers. To show the set E on that line, I drew a filled circle at 6 (because of the "equal" in the "greater than or equal to" condition specifying set E, we include the 6, that's why that circle is filled) with an arrow coming out of it pointing to the right. This diagram helps a lot to figure out the answer; I always find that I have to draw the diagram first, to get answers to questions like this.
