Hello Ainun,
"Group in" is grammatically incorrect no matter what literary context one uses it in.
Instead, use the phrase "group together". Ex: "The monkeys were grouped together in the zoo cage." "Make sure you group the students together for the field trip."
Since the verb "to group" means to gather or put together, or combine, "group together" is the correct phrase to use/write in English writing and grammar accordingly.
