For the word problem “Sam used 6 loaves of elf bread on an 8 day hiking trip. He wants to know how many loaves of elf bread ( b ) he should pack for a 12 day hiking trip if he eats the same amount of bread each day.” What is the appropriate proportional relationship table wit correct labels for it? and a graph if possible

6/8 = x/12

x/12 = 3/4

x/3 = 3

x = 9 loaves for a 12 day hike

graph x/y = 3/4, x=number of elf bread loaves, y= number of days

y = 4x/3 days on y axis, bread on x axis it's an upward sloping straight line with x and y intercepts at the origin (0,0)

12=4x/3, x = 3(12)/4 = 9

8 = 4x/3 x = (3)8)/4 = 6
