Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
(10)^2 + (8)^2 = r^2 = 164
x^2 + y^2 = 164 is the equation of a circle with center at the origin and through the point (10,8)
any equation of a circle centered at the origin has the form x^2 +y^2 = r^2 replace x by 10 and y by 8 and solve for r^2
another method is find
the distance from the point (10,8) to (0,0)
use the Pythagorean Theorem
r^2 = 10^2 + 8^2 = 100+64 = 164
x^2+y^2 = r^2 = 164

Are you able to use the distance formula to find the distance from (10,8) to (0,0)? That will be the radius of the circle. Then use center radius form for the equation of a circle.05/16/22
