asked 05/01/22Show that the gradient of any line perpendicular to 3x - 4y + 2 =0 is -4/3
I don't even know where to start with this question and how to show it.

3x - 4y + 2 = 0
First convert the equation to slope-intercept form (y = mx + b) to find the slope (m) of the line:
-4y = -3x - 2
y = (3/4)x + 1/2
So the slope is 3/4. The slope of all perpendicular lines will be the negative reciprocal of this slope, that is -4/3.
