what is an equation of the line that passes through the point (4,-6) and has a slope of -3
to come up with the equation, use the formula y-y1=m(x-x1)
y-(-6)=-3(x-4)
From there solve for y to get the equation in slope intercept form. Also remember that negative x negative = positive)
