Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
It's not an arithmetic or geometric sequence
a2 is 1 less than a1
a3 is 3 more than a2
a4 is 5 less than a3
a5 is7 more than a4
a6 is 9 less than a5
the numbers 1,3,5,9, are an arithmetic sequence, where the next numbers are 11,13, and 15
1,3,5,9,11,13,15, 17,19, 21, ....
an=an-1 + 2
they also alternate in subtracting and adding to the previous term
a7 is 11 more than a6
a8 is 13 less than a7
a9 is 15 more than a8
a7 = -8+11 = 3
a8 = 3-13 = -10
a9 =-10 +15 = 5
-3,-4,-1,-6,1,-8. 3, -10, 5, ...
but there could be other possibilities
