One ton is equal to 2,000 pounds (lbs.). So two tons is 4,000 lbs.
One crate has eight 10 lb. bags, so one crate has 80 lbs.
We need to know how many 80 lb. crates it'll take to fill the 4,000 lb. order.
If you need to write an algebraic equation, call the number of crates needed c. Then 80c = 4,000.
Divide both sides by 80, and c = 4,000/80 = 50 crates.
I hope this helps!
Have fun mathing!
