You have to plug in f(x) for "x" in the function r(x).

Recall that r(x) = √6x therefor instead of "x" we plug in f(x) = 6x² then we obtain that:

r(f(x)) = √(6f(x)) = √6( 6x²) = √ 36 x² = 6x since 6² = 36
