IF the figure is a sphere, then Surface Area = 4pi(r^2) = 4pi(4)^2
= 64 pi cm^2
= about 201.06 cm^2
sphere's Volume = (4/3)pi(r^3) = (4/3(pi)(8 = 32pi/3 cm^3
= about 33.51 cm^3
if the figure is a cone or cylynder you need more information, the height.
a cylinder's volume would be hpir^2 = hpi(4^2) = 16hpi cm^3
= about 16(3.14159)h = about 50.27h cm^3 where h= the cylinder's height
for a cone, volume would be 1/3 of the cylinder's volume
=16hpi/3 cm^3 where h= the cone's height
= about 16.76h cm^3
