L = 2W - 3
A =LW = (2W-3)W = 2W^2 -3W = 104
2W^2 -3W -104 = 0
(2W +13)(W-8) = 0
W= 8 cm or (ignore the negative solution)
W= -13/2 = - 6 1/2 cm
L= 2W - 3 = 2(8) -3 = 13 cm
Area = A = LW = 13(8) = 104 cm^2
dimensions are 8 cm by 13 cm
