Prealgebra is Your Bridge to Higher Math
The trick is that the center of the circle is at (0, 0), the intersection of the x and y axis.
The circle passes through not only (0, 2) but also (0, -2).
The radius (r) of the circle is 2.
(A)Area of a circle = π r2.
(C)Circumference of a circle = 2 π r.
A = π (2)2 = 4π = 4(3.14) = 12.56
C = 2 π (2) = 4π = 4(3.14) = 12.56
