7r +7r +77 = 1267

14r = 1267-77 = 1190

r = 1190/14 = 85 km per hour for the slower bus

85+11 = 96 km per hour for the faster bus

85+96 = 181 km per hour is how fast they approach each other

in 7 hours they travel a combined 7 x 181 = 1267 miles total
