a 3 dimensional object with parallel sides 3 by 2 by 2
has volume = V = hwl = 3x2x2 = 12 in^3
and has surface area = 2hw + 2hl + 2wl where h=height, w = width, l= length
SA = 2(hw+hl + 2wl) = 2(3x2 + 2x2 + 3x2) = 2(6+4+6) = 2(16)= 32 inches
or if the bottom is 3x2 = 6 and height = 2 then area = 12 in^3
and perimeter = 2(6) + 4(4) = 12+16 = 28
which is the width, length and height? 3x2x2, 2x2x3 or 2x3x2?
if the middle SA =32, if the 1st or last, SA = 28
surface area = 28 or 32 in^3
