x and y are two digits
y is even
x + y + -16 = -11
x+y = -11+16 = 5
x+y = 5
y is even, x is odd
endless possibilities
x y
1 4
3 2
5 0
7 -2
9 -4
....
UNLESS maybe you meant to say
you have a two digit number and the 2nd digit is even
T is the Ten's digit
W is the One's digit
10T + W -16 = -11
10T + W = 5
T and W are each single positive digits
T =1, 3, 5, 7 or 9
W = 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8
then
T W
1 4
the two digit number is 14
no other combination of the odd and even possible integers sum to 5
either interpretation and 14 or 1 and 4
are possible solutions
It might help to clarify the problem a little more.
