y = (4/5)(x-2) + 8

y =4x/5 - 8/5 +40/5

y =4x/5 +32/5 in slope intercept form

or

5y = 4x +32

4x-5y +32 = 0 in general form

It doesn't hurt to plot the points and draw a line connecting them

check the equation by plugging in each point

4(-3) -5(4) +32 = -12-20+32 = -32+32 = 0

4(2) -5(8) + 32 = 8-40+32 = -32+32 = 0
