if abby gives $10 to ben,then they will have the same amount of money. if ben gives $20 to abby, then shell have four times the amount of ben. how much money do each of them have in the start? (MATH QUESTION)

Ben starts out with $0. Abby starts out with $20.

If Abby gives Ben $10, then they will have the same amount of money because $20-$10 = $10 and $0 + $10 = $10.

If Ben then has $10 and gives Abby $20, Abby will have $40 because her original $20 + $20 = $40. And $10 x 4 = $40.
