4 log6 x - (1/5) log6 z + 2 log6 y
Use the Power Law for logarithms:
c logb a = logb ac
= log6 x4 - log6 z1/5 + log6 y2
Use the Sum & Difference Laws for logarithms:
logb a + logb c = logb ac
logb a - logb c = logb (a/c)
Rearrange the terms:
= log6 x4 + log6 y2 - log6 z1/5
= log6 [(x4y2)/z1/5]
