Assume (x,y) is some arbitrary point on the line. The slope of the line can be written m = (y - -2) / (x -3).
The slope is also (-2 -1) / (3 - 6) = -3 / -3 = .1. Substitute this for m in the first equation.
1 = (y + 2) / (x - 3). Solve for y to get y = x -5 where 5 is the y intercept.
