Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
graph of cot(x) has discontinuities at
x = 0, -pi, 2pi, or n(pi) where n= any integer
those values of x are not in the domain as they make cot(x) undefined
cot(x) is the adjacent side divided by the opposite side
the opposite side =0 when x =npi where n= any integer
n=0, x= 0(pi) = 0
n=-1, x =-1(pi) =-pi
n= 2, x = 2pi
all the other choices -3pi/2, -pi/2, 5pi/2, are in the domain of cot(x), but not in the domain of tan(x)
