Imani and huong each improved their yards by planting rose bushes and shrubs. They bought their supplies at the same store. Imani spent $64 on4 rose bushes and 12 shrubs. huong spent $122 on 10 rose bushes and 11 shrubs. Find the cost of one rose bush and one shrub

4r+ 12s = 64

r + 3s = 16

10r +30s = 160

subtract to eliminate r

10r +11s = 122

19s =38

s = 38/19 = $2 per shrub

r = 16 -3(2) = $10 per rosebushes

4(10)+ 2(12) = 40+24 = 64

10(10) + 11(2) = 100+22 = 122
