Hello,
For a question like this you need to have done the work to the previous problems. They are asking you to give the speed of the object and use it to determine an equation for distance. You didn't write out all the problems but I'll try and give you some basic help.
Speed = (Distance Traveled) / (Time It takes to Travel that Distance)
You can also multiply both sides by Time and get the equation for Distance
Distance = (Speed) x (Time)
Here is an example that I hope makes sense.
If a boat can travel 30 miles in 30 minutes this would be the speed:
Speed = (30 Miles) / (0.5 Hours) = (60 Miles) / (1 Hour) = 60 Miles per Hour
If the boat goes 60 miles per hour (Speed) for 2 hours (Time) it will have gone 120 Miles (Distance).
(60 Miles/Hour) x (2 Hours) = 120 Miles
When you make equations you can move around the pieces until you have everything you know on one side and everything you don't on the other. Then you can plug in the information that you have and use it to find the stuff that you don't.
If you have the speed and the time you can find the distance.
Or if you have the time and the distance you can find the speed.
Or if you have the speed and the distance you can find the time.
If you need more help make sure that you put as much information into the post as you can otherwise people won't be able to help you with anything specific.
Good Luck,
Michael
