They give you the slope. Slope = 6. They give you the y-intercept. Y-intercept = -2
For slope-intercept form of a linear equation, that's all you need. Slope = the variable 'm', and y-intercept = the variable 'b'
y = mx + b
Plug in the values
Slope (m) = 6
Y-intercept (b) = -2
y = 6x - 2
