The domain is the plausible range of x. There is no limit to x, so x = (-∞,∞) or Real numbers. Since the equation is a line, the range is also unlimited. In these questions you look for limits on x: f(x) = lnx , the domain is (0,∞) because only x > 0. The question is confusing because of the first part of it. I just started with the "what"
