58 on one test with an average of 63, will pull your grade down slightly. You'll probably still pass with a D- rather than an F+
But it all depends on how the instructor weighted the test grades.
If you had a 63 going into the final, and this 58 is the final exam grade, and the final exam counted half your grade, then you end up with the average (63+58)/2 = 121/2 = 60.5. Usually 60 or higher is a D, and passing. 59 or less is an F or failing.
If that one 58 test grade counts less than half your grade, you end up with probably 62 or 63 as your final grade.
