No matter the base, the domain and range do not change.
Since you cannot take the log of a non-positive number, the domain will always be x > 0.
The range will always be -∞ to +∞.
Check it out here using the slider for b to change the base and notice that the graphs have the same basic shape. As the base gets larger it takes longer and longer for the graph to start getting large y values.
