Question

If f(x)={2x-4 if -1≤x≤2

x³-2 if 2≤3

Find: a. f(0) b.f(1) c. f(2)

Answer 1

0 is in the range -1 <=x <=2 so f(0) = 2 x 0 - 4 = -4

1 is in the same range so f(1) = 2 x 1 - 4 = -2

2 is in the same range so f(2) = 2 x 2 - 4 = 0
