20 times a Number less than 2
2 - 20 x N = 2-20N
or possibly you meant 20 times (a Number less than 2) = 20(2-N) = 40-20N
but the order of operations PEMDAS, places division D before subtraction S
so multiply 20 by N first, then subtract it from 2
PEMDAS means
Parentheses first
Exponents next
Multiplication next
Division next
Addition next
Subtractions last
to get 20(2-N) you'd need some English equivalent of parentheses.
such as 20 times the quantity of a Number less than 2
