This sounds like a right triangle inscribed in a semi-circle problem.

Line DF is a diameter of the circle. Point E is on the circle. Line EG is perpendicular to Line DF at point G.

Triangle DFE is a right triangle. Triangles DGE and GEF are both right triangles.

Given: angle DFE = 70 degrees and the sum of the 3 angles of a right triangle = 180 degrees.

Utilizing triangle DFE, Angle EDF = 180 - (90 - 70) = 20 degrees.

Utilizing triangle DGE, we know angle we know angle DGE = 90 degrees.

Therefore, angle DEG = 180 - [90 + (angle EDF)] = 180 - (90 + 20) = 70 degrees

Angle DEG = 70 degrees
