√ 7 is an irrational number essentially since it cannot be expressed as a fraction. Therefore, if you have 5 of those (by multiplying by 5), the number is still irrational. So, 5√7 is an irrational number.
Fun fact: irrational literally means no ratio, and that's what a fraction is.
