(5/2) 2/5y= 2X (5/2) + 4 multiply both sides of the equation by 5/2 or the reciprocal of 2/5 to cancel the 2/5y. This isolates the y on the left side of the equation. Multiply each term on the right by 5/2.

y = 10x/2 + (20/2)
5x + 10
