Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
7/11 does not equal 21/44
7/11 does equal 7(3)/11(3) = 21/33
maybe someone's finger got 4 when they were trying for 3, confusing 44 with 33
a mis-copy of the problem
7:11 -= 7/11
21:44 = 21/44
Ratios are equivalent to fractions
IF 7/11 did equal 21/44
then cross multiply, numerator of one fraction times denominator of the 2nd fraction, set equal to the numerator of the 2nd fraction times the denominator of the 1st fraction:
7x44 = 11x21
308 = 231? Nope, not true. They aren't equal.
