I wish my parents really pushed me to try new things when I was growing up! I was (and still party am) nervous of failure when I try something new, mainly because, I will most likely mess things up and fail.
As a math teacher, I see many students fail and do things incorrectly, but if that wasn't the case, there wouldn't be a need for math teachers!
It is important to understand that you will most likely be awful at something when you first start out, and to not be discouraged or intimidated by that! In fact, one of the most rewarding aspects of a hobby, talent, skill, etc. is when you look back and realize how much you have grown and improved!
So go out there and try things, don't be afraid to fail (on academic or non-academic things)!

Are you asking this of us tutors? Is this an assignment? Rather strange question for this forum.12/10/21
