Solut0in:
The length of the run is the base of the right angle triangle and the adjacent to angle θ, b = 4-1 = 3
The height of the run which is the altitude of the right angle triangle and the opposite to
angle θ, h = -3-1 = -4
The length of the hypotenuse R = √[(32+(-4)2] = √(9+16) = √25 = 5
The six trigonometric functions are:
sin θ = opposite / hypotenuse = -4/5 , cos θ = adjacent / hypotenuse = 3/5
tan θ = opposite / adjacent = -4/3 . cot θ = 1/ tan θ = adjacent / opposite = -3/4
sec θ = 1/ cos θ = hypotenuse / adjacent = 5/3 , csc θ = 1/ sin θ = hypotenuse / opposite = -5/4
