asked 11/22/21Geometry! PLEASE HELP

A cubic block of compacted snow was cut with a machete during a snow-sculpture competition in McCall in preparation for the Winter Carnival. What is the shape of the cross-section if the machete passes through all the labeled points and then out the other side?

If the machete goes through the labeled points and then out the other side, then the shape that the cross section makes is a parallelogram. I believe you could even call it a rhombus, if you wanted, as the sides of the cross section AB and AC are equal length, and the unseen sides would be of equal length to each other as well. It is no longer necessarily a square due to the slanted angle that the cross section would be taken at, which would not preserve the required right angles in any of the four corners. I hope this answer is able to make sense to you and be of use! Good luck!
