find the line with slope -3, going through
the point (1,3)
use a general form for the linear equation in point slope form y-k = m(x-h) where m= slope and (h,k) is a point on the line = (1,3). h=1, k =3. (y-k)/(x-h) = m
y-3 = -3(x-1)
y-3 =-3x +3
y=-3x +6
