Geometry question

I just graphed these points on a coordinate plane and I need to find a fourth point to create a parallelogram. What 4th point can I use?

x (0,0)

y (5, 2)

z (5, 7)

Multiple choice:

(0,5)

(0,-2)

(10,7)

(10,-2)

(0,-5)

(10,9)

Mark M.

Why not try each point and observe the results? What are the properties of a parallologram?

And note that there are always 3 places to put that 4th point: each pair of existing points forms a line to "hop" the other point across. The larger triangle formed by these three possible "4th" points, forms a similar triangle to that formed by the three original given ones, with twice the side lengths of the original. As I'm sure you will discover!
