1.3(30-y) + 1.8y = 30(1.65)

1.8y -1.3y = 30(1.65) - 30(1.3)

.5y = 30(.35)

y = 10.5/.5

y = 21 pounds of $1.80

mixed with

x= 9 pounds of $1.30

yield a mixture of

30 pounds of $1.65

1.65-1.3 = .35

1.8-1.65 =.15
