Solving for x on a triangle

Suppose m is less than (x2ndpower-5)degrees and m is less than CBD = 4x degrees. Solve for x.

So you're saying that m< ((x^2)-5) deg. and m< 4x deg? Does this mean (x^2)-5=4x? Saying that m is less than two things does not relate those two things to one another in a specific way. Example: m is less than 16 and m is less than 30. We get nothing from that, and 16 and 30 are not related in any obvious way.
