The equation to find the slope (m) when you have 2 coordinates is..... m = (y2 - y1)/(x2-x1)
This table gives you three coordinates. You can pick any 2 coordinates to find the slope.
Using (-2,3) and (4,6)....
m = (6 - 3)/(4-(-2)) = 3/6 = 1/2 the slope is m = 1/2
Slope intercept form is y = mx + b.
"b" is the y-intercept
Use any coordinate to find "b"
I will use (-2,3) to plug into the slope-intercept form.
3 = (1/2)(-2) + b
3 = -1 + b
b = 4 The y-intercept is 4
Therefore, the equation is y = 1/2x + 4.
Check your work by plugging the coordinates into y = 1/2x + 4.
