f(x) = 3x - 8

g(x) = x² + 4x - 11

Just plug the given x-value into the equation then do the other operation. I'll do the first two for you. You do the last two.

1. f(1)+10 = 3·1 - 8 + 10 = 3 - 8 + 10 = 5
2. g(-9)+7 = (-9)² + 4(-9) - 11 + 7 = 81 -- 36 - 11 + 7 = 41
