It largely depends on how much of your grade is measured based on your test scores/grades thereon. The higher a percentage of your overall grade on which is weighed by test scores and corresponding grades, the higher a likelihood that you may pass or fail your course accordingly.
In your particular case: 72% = a C-. If you fail your quiz that is worth 35%, then the average of those two grades (a C- and a F) will amount to a D/D-.
That said, I see that you are currently being homeschooled? That can vary different grading factors quite a bit depending on how your at-home instructor measures and evaluates your overall grades for your homework assignments, tests, and projects cumulatively.
