The cost of Both Andrew and Ryan rides = 2 ( $3.50n) = ($3.50) 2n = 2n($3.50)

The cost of both Andrew and Ryan entrance fees = 2 ($X) = $2X

The total amount of money spent by both = $44

You can Write Total cost = $ 44 = $ 2X + 2n ($3.50) divide both sides by 2 and remove the $ sign
